News

January, 2014: After winning both the Jury Award and the Audience Award for Best Feature at 2013's Durango Film Festival and playing to a sold-out house at Dances With Films in Hollywood in June, Tamas Harangi's indie feature thriller The Advocate is now available at Amazon.com and WalMart stores in the U.S. and Canada. Also recently edited: independent feature film Yellow Day (completion expected in 2014).

Development and financing efforts on two feature projects continue, including Father v. Father, an ensemble drama about two gay dads fighting a biological father for custody of their adopted daughter.

About Us

DEKAfilm Diversified is a versatile Los-Angeles based company specializing in feature film and television development, with occasional production of smaller-scale content in-house. Our focus is solely on narrative (scripted) work, including features, TV movies, and series (no documentaries or reality). We occasionally look for outside material. Please see submissions guidelines.

We are also specialized in post production and finishing, whether for theatrical release or broadcast. We can provide editorial services as well as consulting for low- and mid-budget motion pictures, shooting either digitally or on film.

David E.K. Abramson is a 15-year member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild and a graduate of USC's Production Program ('94). • Full bio.
