The Directors Guild of America represents and aids directors in their art and commerce.

The Writers Guild of America has many resources for the writer, including a comprehensive research links page and their script registry, now available online.

The Independent Film & Television Alliance (formerly the American Film Marketing Association) puts on the American Film market (AFM) — an annual event matching sellers of filmed entertainment with global buyers. Grounded business information for independent filmmakers.

The Internet Movie Database is an incredibly broad, self-perpetuating record of motion pictures and the people who made them.
